I do agree that their are times/issues ...Melanie,

I do agree that their are times/issues that we wrestle (KJV) against principalities and wickedness in this world. We wrestle with decisions and pains we must endure.

But I am talking about giving up because life is too hard. Or giving in because we don't want to go through anything.

The struggle is the scapegoat used to give up instead of sticking it out, praying it through and enduring till the end. It is not always pretty when you have to wrestle through the night but it is sure worth it.

Sometimes, struggling become the crutch.

In every instance you have given, the wrestler/struggler was the victor. Even in your own life, you are the victor because you have the courage to claim victory.

Jesus did promise affliction will come and that we will have to go through some things but we have to rise above it and let the light within us shine. The Christian walk is not easy and we should not always be defeated like the world.

Victory does not come with a fight but girl we gotta fight!!!

Keep Walking, and I will pray for you because you are enduring a lot. It is not easy but your victory is necessary to help others. Your love for Christ must shine through to help those going through the same things but don't know how to fight.

God Bless you!!!

MiVidaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09026320913030743273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3483477771862721329.post-89970783631893215022010-07-19T15:24:05.032-04:002010-07-19T15:24:05.032-04:00Eph. 6:12...Wrestle and Struggle are used intercha...Eph. 6:12...Wrestle and Struggle are used interchangeably in this passage depending on the version of the Bible you read.
Not trying to argue with you, but I have been through something...still going through it...and I do struggle or wrestle or fight.
Jacob wrestled/struggled with the angel of the Lord.
We wrestle/struggle against the forces of the enemy.
At least I do.
Sometimes you have to.
Jesus wrestled with his own will in the garden of Gethsamene sweating "drops of blood." I think there was some struggling taking place.
I have wrestled and struggled in prayer at the bedside of my dying 12 year old son.
We ARE victorious but how can one be victoroius without a struggle?
Yes...Jesus paid it all but we face temptation, tribulation and we often struggle. I think it is part of the Christian life.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04238679303715431171noreply@blogger.com
