The End is Near

I am not predicting the "END", I am saying that 2008 is almost behind us. Today (actually yesterday) is December 1, 2008. 30 more days and it will be 2009.

I look forward to 2009 with great anticipation and expectation. I am expecting to breakthrough some major barriers and to leap over some huge walls. I appreciated everything I learned in 2008 and have 30 days to reflect on the blessings of the year.

I believe that 2008, a year of new beginnings brought so much newness into our lives. We all should be able to see some type of growth and renewal in our lives at this point. I have several areas that God has stretched me and molded me. He has renewed my mind, my outlook and my dreams. He has given me an outlet to express my faith and to inspire you to have faith to do exploits. He has opened some doors and only He can close and closed some that He will not allow to be opened.

I challenge each one of you today to take out a calendar and mark down one thing each day that the Lord has made new in your life this year. Start with December 1st and put something down that God has made new, renewed or made you grow. Put something that you were instructed to do and do it. Take a leap of faith and do that thing that you are not so sure of. If it is 30 days of prayer, do it. 30 days of fasting, I'll pray for you :))), etc. I believe this challenge will make each of us really put some thought into our dreams and give thanks for the things He has done.

I am grateful to each one of you for accepting these challenges and I want to hear some of your revelations this month. Let each of us know one thing that you are working on or that you have accomplished this year. If you haven't started walking yet, don't give up a lot could be accomplished in 30 days. I am expecting to see a new you before 2009.

Strap on those heels, get out your pen and get to writing. Walk around and speak in faith what you are looking for next year. Visualize yourself in the new year and draw a picture in your mind, find a scripture that matches your dream/yourself and pray that the Lord births out of you what He has placed in you.
I am excited about what is about to happen before the year ends. Yes, the end is near but it is full of expectation of great things to come and 2009 is going to be a year of BIRTHING.

Keep Walking,

MiVida

MiVida~ I am trying to find the gift in each day from now until Christmas, I like your plan to seek out something "new." God is doing a work to cause us to continually focus on Him, amen?

As for 2009 being a birthing... I only want to get on board for that if 2008 was the year with all the labor! Ha! Bless you in Jesus' name.

MiVida May,
You are so in tune. I was just speaking with a friend last night, and we were both expressing how we know thast we still have 30 days left to accomplish some of the things we set out to do in '08 and to see manifestation of some things that he spoke and promised. God has given me some instructions for this month. I am more excited about this month than all of the others in 2008 because I am looking to finish strong, and for God to "Blow My Mind!" I look forward to 2009, and will check back in at the end of December with my progress. For now I will listen to my anthem for December and all of 2009, "Back II Eden" by Donald Lawrence :)

Thanks for the challenge MiVida. At the beginning of '08, my Pastor encouraged us to have dream boards where we could hang life scriptures, goals, dreams visions, etc. much like what you described. For me, it was great contantly having that reminder before me. There is one thing on my board that I still hadn't gotten to. I honestly figured I probably wouldn't at this point. But, you've provided a timely reminder that there still is indeed time! I can still fulfill my goal of learning how to play the guitar this year. I may not learn it all, but I will learn something -- and I will sing along to 2 or 3 chords if I have to! LOL!

Thanks for the push!
We CAN do all things through our Jesus!

Much love,
Bonnie

Sister V, you have no idea how profoud your word is. For the past few weeks God has been dealing with me about expecting in 2009. God gave me the revelation that 2009 is the year of the appointed time! It will be the year that many of our hearts desires will be met not because we are so good but because we expect it to happen. 2009 will be the year that we will give birth to all of our really over due babies. For so many of us we thought that we had "miscarried" our dreams and visions but God says, "NOT SO!" It was just not the appointed season. But rest assure that "about this time (the appointed season) next year, you will give birth" to every dream, desire and promise! Blessings to you woman of God!

Ok, I am back. OMG @ Erin's comment! She's dead on it too! God has been speaking that very word to me, and it's funny because a few weeks ago, I was reading the accounts of how God told Abraham that Sarah was going to have a child and He told him that it would be "About this time next year". God is good and always sends confirmation to His words. All I can say is that the labor pains were a hot mess in 2008, but in 2009 I'm going to PUSH my babies out! The best part is that once the babies are born, the pain and sorrow are forgotten and only the joy remains!

This blog is great Mivida. When the year 2007 ended there were individuals that was excited to enter into another year, with the anticipation of seeing some of the old thing's past and stepping into something new. Some were anticipating graduation, a loved one coming home from the hospital, some reconciling their relationships (God, marriage, people,) leaving tears they've cried over months to dry up and never re-appear, promotions, business adventures, a GREATER annointing from God etc. The thing we must remember that even though our focus has changed and blessing's has come, our growth has not stopped. Since there is only 3 1/2 weeks left of this month why not continue seeking God for greater revelation, and allowing Him to manifest in our lives so that we can continue to be built for the kingdom. The visions that God has give each of us does not stop in the year 2008.

Vision dictates purpose and maximizes potential.

Blessing God for you Mivida. What a provoking word. Before coming to the blog, I just wrote "I'm excited about life and its beautiful possibilites.....Dream!!!" I am going to continue to dream. Dream even in the face of adversities, dream even in the face of facts, dream even in the face of the naysayers, dream even in areas where I fail short...I will continue to dream and have visions of me evolving and obtaining every vision and promise the Lord has given me. There is an appointed time and while I wait to see the manifestations....I will dream.
